More is Less – Merrell Moab Speed 2 Review

Thank you to Merrell for sponsoring this post.

Last week I came down with something NASTY!! I slept for 16 hours one day and didn’t leave my bed for a few days. I NEVER do this, so Craig knew I was hit was something rough!

As soon as my health goes, it is the first and only thing I want back. I just want to be able to go for a run and feel good. Heck, I just want to be able to walk without my chest burning.

After the worst of the symptoms subsided, I knew a simple walk outside in the woods would do wonders for clearing the mind and rejuvenating the soul, so I took these Merrell Moab Speed 2 hiking shoes for a walk on the trails, and they were a great lightweight trail shoes with good traction, GTX (waterproof) lining, and plenty of room in the toebox.

The added traction on the trails provided a more enjoyable experience since I didn’t need to worry about slipping and the good structure of the shoe provided support when traversing over uneven ground.

Afterwards I felt so much better, and it is a reminder that even 20-30 minutes outside during a lunch break, after work, or after dinner now that the sun is sticking around longer, does so much for your mental and physical health.

So I challenge you to get out and take some time for yourself because we all know it will help you feel better. Remember more is less–getting more from the outdoors with less. All you need is a good pair of shoes like these Moab Speed 2 from Merrell, comfortable clothes, and you can head outdoors for the best medicine there is for your soul.

I linked several other Merrell items below, so check them out.

Hi, I'm Michelle

I love running around the lakes of Minnesota, running after my two boys, and racing anything from the 5K to the marathon. I have been blogging here since 2010 when I ran my first marathon. I finally secured my sub-3 hour marathon after trying for 8 years.
