I am loving my new facial regimen each morning and night. I have fallen even more in love with Beautycounter products and have a little shameless plug at the end of this blog post for this company. But first, let’s get started with my new cleansing and moisturizing regimen that I honestly look forward to doing each morning and night.
Morning
Nourishing Cream Cleanser + Nourishing Day Cream
Nourishing Cream Cleanser
I use the Nourishing Cream Cleanser each morning in the shower after working out. I love this cleanser! It is your basic cleanser, but it cleans well and doesn’t leave my skin really tight after washing. The fragrance is subtle but very pleasant, and this no-foaming cleanser is free of 1500 potentially harmful chemicals!
After cleansing, I use the Nourishing Day Cream for moisturizing. This is a product I recently purchased, and I already love it! It is the perfect day-time moisturizer because it is really lightweight and absorbs quickly into my skin. The product’s dispenser has a small opening, which I really like because I don’t end up with more than I need. It’s the little things!
Night
Nourishing Cream Cleanser + Rejuvenating Night Cream + Facial Oil
At night, I once again start with the Nourishing Cream Cleanser to wash off all my make-up. Usually every other night I will use this along with my Clarisonic to get a really deep cleanse.
Then I moisturize! I use the heavier Rejuvenating Night Cream + a couple drops of my facial oil mixed together, and then rub that all over my face. It is seriously the best feeling ever to have a highly-moisturized face right before going to bed because then I wake up to soft, smooth skin.
The facial oils are what really made me fall in love with Beautycounter products and become a believer in what they say they do. I was having extremely dry skin this winter, and thankfully (after trying 7 other products!), I found something that actually worked: Beautycounter facial oil. (You can read all about my experience with trying to find something to help my dry skin, and a full review of the Soothing Oil here.) Sadly, the Soothing Oil has been discontinued, but one of the new oils (the Balancing Facial Oil) is currently on its way to my house because I seriously could not live without my facial oil. My skin is no longer overly dry, but I still love the moisture that it provides. The Balancing Oil is designed to help ‘balance’ the dry and oily areas, calm skin (My skin can become red at times.), and help with blemishes, which I have occasionally.
Weekly
About 2-3 times per week, I use the Charcoal Cleansing Bar to really clean out my pores and help prevent blemishes. I like to use the Charcoal Bar especially after working out! I’ve had my bar since December, and it is still going strong! (The one pictured below is the picture off the Beautycounter website.) I’ll have to order a new bar soon, but I have been pleasantly surprised at how long it has lasted! This is one product that Beautycounter is known for, and I highly recommend purchasing it in your first order.
I am going to put in a little shameless plug for Beautycounter because they I have fallen even more in love with the company from when I first joined as a Beautycounter consultant. At the beginning, I really didn’t know what I was getting myself into, but I have been blown away by the community this company provides to their consultants! First off, the training I first received as a new consultant was amazing: daily emails with very helpful information and tips for becoming a successful consultant. Secondly, our team page on Facebook is never-ending with new ideas and motivation to keep promoting the products. And I truly feel like the ladies (and a few gentlemen) are genuinely behind the company and brand–and not just selling products to make money! The products are honestly amazing AND safe, which, I would bargain, is not easy to come by.
This company is still in the grassroots (compared to Avon, Roden + Fields, Mary Kay, etc.), but I truly believe more people are going to realize that there are a lot of nasty chemicals we put on our skin every day, and they are going to want to change that and move towards cleaner products! (Read more here on what Beautycounter is doing to keep their products free of 1500 harmful chemicals and change regulation on beauty products.)
If you are at all interested in being a consultant yourself, please reach out to me and help this movement grow to show others that it is just as important what we put on our bodies as what we put inside!

Beauty Counter recently sent me a few samples – I’m so excited to try them!
What?!? I didn’t know they did that! That’s so cool! What did you get?
