Black Friday: the shopping holiday that starts earlier and earlier every year, and I’m probably already behind with this post, but I did want to share some really good finds that are definitely worth checking out.
I weeded through a lot of different retailers and found the best deals for you. Many of the items I currently own and love, while others are things I am coveting. I rounded up running tops, my favorite Skida headbands, the one makeup item I can’t live without, and a new pair of straight jeans I have been living in.
Lululemon
You can’t pass up a good lululemon sale. I do have to admit that is was hard to find items with a lot of sizes available for a lot of products, so I really had to dig for these. I will say lululemon’s big sale is the day after Christmas (Boxing Day), but I did find some items worth checking out.
I do have this sleek windbreaker jacket, which I love for temps in the 30s and 40s. I also love this long-line Energy Bra that is incredibly comfortable, and I plan to wear the regular length version for the marathon. I did see these Wunder Under High Rise Tight are on sale as well as these Fast & Free Tights. Finally, I saw this cropped rain jacket for running at the store a couple weeks ago, and it looked so cute! Now that it is on sale, I am so tempted to buy it!
New Balance
New Balance is having 25% off many of the items on their website. I am obsessed with this winter running jacket. I have a very similar one that I wear when temps are in the 20s, and it is so cute but also very functional. Also, go and watch the video to see this plastic watch window on this jacket–how cool is that?! I have this Heat Grid Hoodie that I love so much and wear all the time in the winter time. I also have these casual shoes that are very comfortable and go with a lot of different outfits. And this sweatshirt is the one I am wearing in the photo below.
Backcountry
If you have been wanting to try some Skida products, Backcountry is having 20% off their Skida products including their headbands that I have way too many of. I have both their fleece-lined headband and non fleece-lined headbands, which are incredibly cute, don’t slide around, and perfect for temps in the 30s and 40s. I am wearing the Alpine Neckwarmer (fleece-lined) in this picture, which is a must when I run in temps below 20*F. I also love their Nordic Hats, which aren’t fleece-lined but warm enough for me during the winter.

Right now I am loving Abercrombie jeans lately, especially these straight leg jeans that are currently on sale. I also purchased this cute cropped turtleneck sweatshirt that I will be wearing a lot this winter. Lastly, I am a sucker for a cute cableknit sweater in a white/tan color that is also on sale and screaming my name.
Old Navy
Old Navy is killing it with their 50% off your entire online purchase, which I am all about. I love Old Navy’s plaid shirts because they are very soft, have a slightly oversized fit (but not too oversized) and look great on everyone. I also own these distressed black jeans and love them so much I bought a second pair! I am wearing this zip-up in the picture below, and it is so comfortable and so flattering. Plus and the material is much higher quality than I would expect from Old Navy.

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with whomever you celebrated with. I had a low-key morning with my family, and then I made it out for an easy run in the fresh, falling snow. After that I got ready, and then we went over to my in-law’s for a late lunch/early dinner complete with all of the traditional foods. After dinner we hung out and watched Elf, which is one of my favorite Christmas movies.
I have a lot to be thankful for including my family’s health, being in a really good place with my running, jobs that I love, and a family who is so supportive of me. I am also thankful for all of you who still read this little old blog of mine and those of you who follow me on Instagram.
