Black Friday: the biggest shopping day of the year and the day stores give their deepest discounts. I don’t mind that most of us will be shopping virtually this year because I remember trying to maneuver through the crowded isles and standing shoulder-to-shoulder with complete strangers to snag that one item that everyone wants. No thanks. I’ll happily shop from home.
This year I’ve rounded up some of my favorite items on sale that you can shop from the comfort of your own home since that just seems easier anyhow, right?! Some of the items I own, others that I have been eying or thought were cute. I’ve featured running clothes, athleisure items, casual clothes, warm winter jackets, and cute boots.
Thank you for shopping with me, and I wish you a healthy, happy, and safe rest of your weekend.
Lululemon
Many of my favorite items are on sale at lululemon for Black Friday including my favorite running tights – with some more color options here. These are lightweight and do not budge when running. I also love my Wunder Under Tights – a great all-around legging that I use for lifting, walks, and casual wear. Make sure you also pick up my all-time favorite sports bra. It’s on sale for $29, so pick up two while you’re at it.
New Balance
I love New Balance for running gear, and I would highly suggest taking advantage of their 30% off sale going on right now, plus free shipping. Thirty percent off nearly everything on their site as well as this jacket I recently purchased and raved about on Instagram! I also love their Heat Grid Hoodie. (I have a previous year’s version that is only slightly different.) I love how warm and cozy these long sleeves are and great for layering under a shell. This heat grid long sleeve (no hood) is on my wishlist.
Abercrombie
I have actually been buying quite a few things from Abercrombie recently, and for Black Friday, they have 40% off everything in their store. I just put an order in for these black jeans, and I wear these distressed, lighter wash jeans all the time. I got a very similar sweater to this one with balloon sleeves, and it is so warm and cozy. When I was shopping around, I saw they restocked this sherpa jacket in my size, which I have been eyeing for months.
Target
I have picked up so many sweaters this season at Target. You can’t beat sweaters for $10-$20 that are cute and fit well. I grabbed this crewneck sweater during the fall in the ‘rust’ color and love it. And this slouchy sweater I am wearing below is currently one of my favorite sweaters.
Beautycounter
Everything on Beautycounter‘s website is 15% off, plus you get free shipping on orders over $50. Usually Beautycounter’s promos are a gift with purchase, so I think this is even better because there is no minimum order. My three current favorite products are the Overnight Resurfacing Peel (helps brighten your skin), Countertime Tetrapeptide Supreme Cream (my PM cream that is so thick and moisturizing), and the new and improved lip glosses.
Nordstrom
My most-worn winter bootie and wedge – waterproof, grippy, and very comfortable is on sale for 40% off. And this year’s version is also on sale for 40% off at Nordstrom. I am putting this Free People chunky sweater on my wish list. It looks super cute, and it is right under $50.
Backcountry
You guys know I love my Skida headbands and neck warmers, well, they are 20% off right now, so snag your favorites at Backcountry. This Arc’teryx jacket is what I wear in the spring and fall all the time here in Alaska. It is good for temps in the 30s and 40s, and I’ve had mine for 6 years. I love that Garmin has added the capability to get music on this watch, so you no longer have to carry your phone when you run.
I hope you each had a wonderful Thanksgiving and were able to make the most of it during this pandemic. I am thankful for many things this year including my health, running injury-free, my family (near and far), good friends, jobs, and all those little things we take for granted every day. I am also thankful for you and for those of you who have been reading my blog for years and for those of you who just discovered my blog. This wouldn’t be half as fun without the connections I’ve made with people over the years.
