Virtual Half Marathon Training Group

If you are like most runners, you are desperately missing the in-person races, the opportunity to congregate with large groups of runners, and train with other people.

Since the in-person contact we can have is limited, I have decided to start a virtual training group for those looking for some motivation and a chance to connect with other runners going after similar goals.

My sister, a Registered Dietitian, (Kristy – @marathon.nutritionist) and I will be holding a small virtual half marathon training group for those training for a 2 hour half marathon (give or take 10 minutes). We are looking for 6-8 people who want some guidance with their running AND their nutrition.

We have gotten feedback that runners are looking for a fun way to stay motivated during training while continuing to improve running performance, so we are excited to be putting together a virtual training group for runners across the US (even the world).

This group is for you if you: 
– Want to stay motivated with your training through group support 
– Want a training plan to run around a 2 hour half marathon 
– Need guidance on fueling before, during and after a run
– Struggle with digestive issues during exercise
– Looking for a both 1:1 and group support from a certified running coach and registered dietitian

Details:
Cost: $200/month for a 3-month commitment ($600 total)
Dates: July 1, 2020 – September 27, 2020
Virtual half marathon: September 26th or 27th, 2020
(If there was a live race in your area, you could certainly do that too!) 
Cost includes:
– personalized weekly running plan (plan includes speed workout and long runs)
– two 30 minute individual nutrition consulting calls
– two monthly Zoom chats (one on nutrition, one about running)
– private Facebook group for ongoing support, space for Q&A, and to connect with other runners
