WEARING // tights | sweatshirt (similar) | shoes
I found these tights on Amazon for $25, and they feel just like a pair of Lululemon tights for a fraction of the cost! They are high-waisted, a compression-style tight that is snug but not restricting, 7/8 length, and have side pockets on both legs. I even wore them on a run, and they passed with flying colors. They did not slip down, and I never had to adjust them once. Highly recommend them!
LISTENING // Des Linden on I’ll Have Another with Lindsey Hein
Watching the Boston Marathon on Monday was so much fun! It is so inspiring to watch everyone run no matter where they are in the pack and who ends up winning. One afternoon I listened to Des Linden on Lindsey Hein’s I’ll Have Another podcast where they discussed Des running the upcoming Boston Marathon, the change in how marathoners qualify for the Olympics, and Des’ very practical take on running and training.
USING // Beautycounter One-Step Makeup Remover Wipes
I’m usually good about washing my face and taking my makeup off each night, but there have been a few nights recently I have been too tired to wash my face, so these Beautycounter One-Step Makeup Remover Wipes have come in very handy. They smell great, are very effective at removing makeup, and are biodegradable.
EATING // Chipotle Tahini Bowls
We are all about our ‘bowls’ in this family. (Okay, just Craig and I. When do kids start eating actual entrees?) Lindsey from Pinch of Yum’s meals always look to-die-for delicious, and I have yet to be disappointed with any recipe I’ve made of her’s. These Chipotle Tahini Bowls were so good–the perfect blend of flavors, healthy, and vegan if you leave off the egg. We have been making the chipotle dressing just to drizzle on other meals and foods–it is that good!
SHOPPING // Old Navy, AE, DSW
I’m getting my spring wardrobe ready with light-colored jeans, pink tops, canvas slip-ons, and all the fun floral prints. I purchased these gray slip-ons but they have yet to come in the mail. (Boo for shipping that takes forever to get to Alaska.) I also got this denim jacket that is currently on sale for less than $35, and it definitely looks like it should cost more. I’m thinking about purchasing either these jeans or these jeans because I’ve been eyeing a pair of the girlfriend-fit jeans for a while now. I’m also on the hunt for a reasonably-priced jumpsuit for Easter, so if you have any recommendations, send them my way! Oh, and on the topic of jumpsuits, this jumpsuit looks perfect for traveling.
