Fall is definitely evident here. Actually the leaves have been changing (and falling) for some time now–AND there was termination dust on the mountains on Saturday morning. (NO!) I also really don’t like that it is still dark at 7 a.m. in the morning and still not very light by 8 a.m. either.
Saturday morning I made my favorite breakfast: turkey bacon and egg sandwich on an English muffin along with a Green Balance Juice. I love this combo of healthy proteins, carbs, and a serving of veggies that definitely keeps me full for a while.
I worked at the store for 7 hours, which is about my max these days for being on my feet. Luckily it was really busy, so the time went by fast. After work I headed to our church for the official grand opening and blessing of our new church.
The bishop came up from San Fransisco to do ceremony for the new church. Afterwards we had a formal banquet to celebrate the occasion.
Sunday was filled with a run, church, and running errands.

I’m still chugging along and doing at least some running these days. No, it isn’t fast or far, but at least I can still say I am running.
Week 36 of Pregnancy Workouts
Monday
45 minutes aqua jogging + 45 minute walk with the dog
I haven’t done aqua jogging since high school, but this reminded me how great of a workout it can be if you are injured! My legs definitely got a good workout without the impact of literally hitting the pavement.
Tuesday
3 miles/29:31/average pace – 9:50 + 50 minute walk with Sadie
It is what it is these days. I am just doing what I can and am accepting what my body is capable of.
Wednesday
2 miles/21:03/average pace – 10:31
Nothing spectacular–just trying to do what I can.
Thursday
Off
Friday
2 miles/19:48/average pace – 9:53 + 30 minutes of weight lifting + 30 minute walk with Sadie
My hip flexors don’t seem to be bothering me, but I do feel my abdomen tightening periodically.
Saturday
Off – rest day before the race
Sunday
6.7 miles/57:14/average pace – 8:32
Total: 14 miles
Week 37 of Pregnancy Workouts
Monday
Off – A little sore from the race but nothing horrible.
Tuesday
Wednesday
3 miles/31:21/average pace – 10:26
Ran/walked with Sadie. A lot of breaks but very nice to get outside in the fall weather.
Thursday
2 miles/19:50
Friday
1 mile/11:00 + 60 minute walk with the dog
Three days of running in a row seems to be a little too much.
Saturday
Off
Sunday
3 miles/30:05/average pace – 10:00
So-so run. I felt pretty average for these days. I still take a lot of walk breaks.
Total: 9 miles
