90 miles here I come! This will be my first week at 90 miles this year. (I ran 90 miles last August.)
I’ve been feeling pretty good. Although I am sore from the race on Saturday, but hopefully I will recover okay. Foam rolling and an ice bath are in the plans.
Here’s the 90- mile plan for the week:
Monday
AM – 9 miles
PM – 30 minutes weight lifting
Tuesday
AM – 9 miles with tempo run
PM – 4 miles
Wednesday
AM – 14 miles
PM – 30 minutes weight lifting
Thursday
AM – 11 miles with 5 x 1 mile repeats
PM – 5 miles
Friday
AM – 8 miles
Saturday
22 miles
Sunday
8 miles
Total: 90 miles
I definitely have my work cut out for me, but I also love running high mileage.

Other randomness for the week:
1. What do you think is going to happen on The Bachelorette tonight?
I think Desiree goes home and doesn’t allow either of the last two guys to propose to her. (She’d better not since she professed her love for Brooks!) And then when she comes back for the live portion, she and Brooks are dating. Or maybe she is single. . . .I don’t know. Maybe I should go check out Reality Steve.
2. Congratulations to Iowa Girl Eats on their new baby boy!
3. Nichole had quite the medical fluke (hopefully just a fluke) during a long run that landed her in the ER! Hope you’re feeling better, Nichole!
4. I purchased my favorite protein powder – Sunwarrior Warrior Blend Vanilla from Amazon this weekend.
5. I also bought a pair of the new Mizuno Sayonara running shoes from Online Shoes because they have free shipping to Alaska (not always the case) and free returns if you exchange them for a different pair.
Happy Monday!
Thanks, Michelle!! Going in for a few more tests today to be sure, but hopefully it was just a one-time thing! I dug out my Road ID and will definitely be wearing that, along with my phone, for every run from now on! Have fun with your big week!!!
90 miles! You are such an inspiration! Good job.
You’re not human, right? I’m just going to assume you aren’t. 😉 90 MPW is insanely awesome!!
You are amaze balls! I’ve been struggling with running consistently so you are definitely an inspiration. I also read an article that some guy ran 30 days in a row and that got him out of the same slump I’m in so….TODAY I START. 30 DAYS! Wish me luck!
PS. Where did you get your jacket. I want one. 🙂
My jacket is the Nike Cyclone Vapor jacket. I ordered it from 6PM.com last summer.
WOW! amazing. good luck! and i love that jacket too 🙂
