Thank you SO much for all the wonderful well-wishes, good lucks, and comments on my blog, on Facebook, and through e-mails!!
It was so encouraging knowing that you were cheering for me even though you couldn’t be here in person. I definitely thought about all of you while I was running! 🙂
. . . . . . .
Well, I made it! I finished running marathon #2 – Mayor’s Marathon.
A quick synopsis:
Good news: I didn’t stop to walk, which was one of my goals! 🙂
Bad news: I didn’t qualify for Boston nor did I get a PR. 🙁
(Click here to see my other goals.)
I’m super bummed about not qualifying for Boston, but I did feel so much stronger during this marathon than my first one!
My unofficial time I clocked myself at – 3:44.07
I will do a complete recap tomorrow!
You are amazing! That time rocks & you should feel blessed. Life doesn’t always bear lemonade when we put all the lemons into it, but I think you are ONE STEP CLOSER to Boston lady! Enjoy the rest of your day –> husband = foot massage and personal chef:) Congrats!
Great job! Looking forward to the recap :D.
Yeah, way to go!! I can’t wait to hear all about it! Love your sister!
Wahoo!!!!!!
Hooray, Michelle! I saw you come in and was so excited. Great job! Love your shorts. Was going to track you down in the finishers’ area and introduce myself but had to get back (my mom is up visiting and she was tired from so much standing).
Cheers and catch you next race,
P.S. I ran the half but didn’t do as well as I expected, sigh, sigh.
Awesome!
Awesome job Michelle!!! Such an accomplishment!!
great job! i experienced all of this a month ago- feeling stronger than marathon #1 but not quite a BQ. it’s all a process & part of the experience. we’ll get it next time!
It was amazing to see you finish! It was my girl’s first time seeing a race and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Can’t want to hear about the whole thing!
I’m so glad you were able to come!! Thanks for cheering for me!
Michelle – wow. Congrats, you kicked butt out there!
Congratulations Michelle!!! That is an amazing time! Can’t wait to read your recap!
Huzzah! You killed it.
