As soon as I got up this morning, I made myself a little breakfast that would fuel me through a run.
I love bagels with peanut butter and banana on. It is a great pre-fun food, plus it tastes delicious! π
I had the other half of bagel with cream cheese.
I went out for a 7 mile run this morning because after not running yesterday, I wanted to go for a medium-long run.
Overall, the run went pretty well. I wasn’t feeling “on top of the world” per say, but I stayed fairly warm and enjoyed the peacefulness of a Sunday morning. π

After getting back and showering, I headed to church. Then, I ran a few errands, picked up a couple Christmas presents, and stopped by the grocery store.
Here’s what I got:
pantry staples, yogurt, eggs, soy cheese, deli meat, and popcorn.
The fresh produce: leaf lettuce, gala apples, carrots, spaghetti squash, cucumber, brussel sprouts, red pepper, garlic, avocado, and red onion.
I was very happy to only spend around $40 for all of this!
When I got home, I was starving, so I whipped up this quick lunch full of yellows and oranges.
– leftover Garbanzo Bean and Potato Curry served over pasta
– yellow squash and carrot sticks with hummus
– an orange
Later on this afternoon, I snacked on gala apple.
I spent the rest of the afternoon wrapping presents and finishing up Christmas cards.
We are headed over to a friend’s house for the evening. Catch ya later!!
