Welcome to my blog!
I am so excited (and a little nervous) to start this blog. I’ve been reading various blogs for a while, which has motivated me to start my own.
My name is Michelle, I am 27 years old, and live in Anchorage, Alaska with my husband, Craig. I teach physical education in the Anchorage School District, but now that it is summer, I finally have a chance to start this blog! Check out my “About” section for more about me!
I wanted to start a blog for a few reasons:
1.) My entire family lives in Minnesota or Wisconsin, and since I am not able to visit them much–seeing that they live 3500 miles away–I thought this would be a great way of keeping them up-to-date about what’s going on in my life.
2.) I have a strong passion for running and nutrition (hence the title) and want to share my exeperiences and knowledge with others. I often find myself sharing things with family and friends and now this is my way to share with a bigger audience.
3.) I am not very good about taking pictures on trips, outings, or in general, so I am hoping this will force me to take more pictures and my blog will then be a journal I can access in the future.
I hope you enjoy my blog and will continue reading as I give you a glimps into my life!
Congratulations Michelle,
Your blog Runner’s Plate is off to a good start! I’ll look forward to reading it off and on. Keep up the good work.
